The model "Deep Ocean" is a tribute to the legendary P-Bass pickup with a powerful and clearly defined fundamental tone.
This pickup is designed as a humbucker (two coils) to eliminate annoying hum.
The two coils are hand wound with the historically correct #42 plain enamel wire and together with the AlNiCo 5 cylindrical magnets, this results in a fat bass foundation with a lively and fast response.
 
The DC resistance is around 11 kΩ.
The included brass shield plate is optional to mount and fits only for "vintage" routings.
