The bridge pickup of the 59 CrossPoint has a direct and tight tone and can therefore be used particularly well for rock rhythm work. The reason for this tonal strength is a powerful AlNiCo V magnet.

In contrast, the neck pickup is equipped with an AlNiCo II magnet, which is very sensitive to string vibration; this pickup has a soft fundamental tone with excellent transparency and outstanding string separation.

Technical information:

The neck pickup has a DC resistance of approximately 7.1 kΩ.

The bridge pickup is moderately overwound and is around 8.7 kΩ.

Both pickups are wound with the historically correct #42 plain enamel wire.
